Who is the Donegan Burns Foundation?

We are a private foundation that is dedicated to helping students achieve their potential by overcoming their physical and economic barriers.

Who do you serve?

We work with nonprofit organizations that serve children and families and their schools.

What do you fund?

Early testing and intervention children literacy programs as well as programs that provide academic support.

Do you have a regional focus?

Currently we are focused on organizations in Arizona, California, Hawaii and Texas, however, we receive requests and fund organizations nationwide.

What size grants do you typically award?

We typically award grants ranging in size from $5000 – $25,000.

Do you provide multi-year grants?

Grantees may apply for a one year grant for up to three consecutive years.

How can I apply?

  1. We request that you submit a Letter of Inquiry. We will respond to your inquiry within 60 days.
  2. Inquiries that meet our grant priorities for the calendar year will receive a letter requesting an Application and Proposal.
